Mosby's Index is a indexed database of Elsevier health sciences journals and articles.
In an effort to uncover the reasons behind dwindling usage and decreased page views, a comprehensive user study was conducted to learn more about when, how, and why customers came to the site. Based on this user research and customer feedback, the entire site was redesigned. I wireframed streamlined page layouts and major workflows and created updated visual designs.
During the development phase of the project I worked closely with developers on the front-end HTML and CSS, and set up an online style guide with code snippets and accessibility notes that they could easily refer to. I was also responsible for reviewing the front-end code for logging bugs and suggested fixes in the Q&A system.
